ESC 2015 HUNGARY: SEMIFINAL ONE LINE UP AND LITTLE REVIEW

Hungary will have its first semifinal this Saturday. My favorites are Ádám Szabó, Karmapolis, Zoltán Mujahid, Vera Tóth, Timi Antal.... Now that was a very little review wasn't it? This said Szabó seems like the strongest one here, Antal could be very strong if she gets her act together, Vera can be hypnotic and mysterious and Zoltán has a very good act. I like Karmapolis a lot, but isn't it a bit same as Compact Disco? I still need to warm up to Boggie that scored so well with the juries and left me wondering why.....  The songs were selected in three semifinals, five qualifying by the jury (you can see their given points below) and then one song was selected by the televoters from the remaining). I suppose the same goes for the semifinal (4+1). As usual the standard of the songs is very high, without being Eurovision plastic and Eurovision by numbers like is the case in many national selections unfortunately. Hungary will be a top contender in Vienna once again, unless s...

ESC 2015 HUNGARY: QUALIFIERS FROM THE SECOND HEAT

Hungarian A Dal's second semi finished moments ago and we have six more qualifiers for the semifinals. As usual five were saved by the jury and televote, and one more from the remaining ones by televote only. For once I have to totally agree with the results.  Ádám Szabó – Give Me Your Love – 46  Gergő Oláh – A Tükör Előtt – 41  Ív – Fire – 38  Panktastic! – Kicsi A Világ, De Nagy Világ! –  38 Gyula Éliás Jr. ft. Fourtissimo – Run To You – 36 New Level Empire - Homelights - 34 (saved by the televote) Leader Rising - Löjetek fel - 36 Heni Dér - Ébreztö - 34 Saci & Böbe Szécsi - Our time - 34 Chances - The night - 31

#ESC 2014 HUNGARY: ANDRÁS OR VIKTOR RUNNING FOR VICTORY?

Hungary concluded its two semifinals for A Dal 2014 final last weekend and we have the eight finalists now. From both semifinals two songs were chosen by the jury, another two by televoters of the remaining ones. In the second semifinal Kalláy Saunders was the winner but Dénes Pál and Fool Moon tied with the jury vote. They chose Fool Moon in the end but Dénes Pàl then qualified thanks to televoters. It should be all laid out for Kállay Saunders win with the jury support and most likely also the televoters. However, we have no clue how the jury favorites will feature with televoters as they have never been televoted before the final. In theory at least. Last year Kállay Saunders won the televote and ByeAlex was the last and fourth entry to make the superfinal by jury votes but emerged as the winner when televoters got their say! This blogger is all for Kállay Saunders, but there are a couple of other very good ones as well: Bogi, Dénes and Fool Moon.... Here are the finalists and...

#ESC 2014 HUNGARY: WE HAVE FINALISTS

Hungary had its first semifinal (second will follow tomorrow) while Sweden was being boring and Iceland made some serious mistakes and four acts qualified. The jury voted to the final Viktor Király and Bogi. Televoters sent to final Depresszio and New Level Empire. The fan favorite Joni is out. Last year the Hungarian televoters lifted ByeAlex to the victory from lower places so who knows how this ends....  Viktor Király - Running out of time Bogi - We all Depresszio - Csak a zene New Level Empire - The Last One
