Marco Mengoni releases tomorrow his new album Parole in circolo , that follows the success of mulitplatinum selling #Prontopercorrere album's several hits and the first single of this album, Guerriero that became a top-4 most selling single in Italy in 2014 despite being released only in mid-November. Indeed it's one of the best songs that came out of Italy last year. Needless to say this new album sounds fantastic, different from the previous one but in a good way. Can't wait to hear it fully. Marco Mengoni is not standing still. His recently launched application for Apple and Android users has already over 20.000 downloads and right there in that platform he has announced a new release for January 2015 making #quellochesarà  (#whatwillbe) a top trend in Italy within minutes. What it is remains yet a secret, or rather Marco himself isn't yet quite sure what or how it will be: "How it will be I don't know exactly yet" he says in his statement. "But I can tell it's one project in two parts, the journey continues. Today more than ever an album seems like a playlist of situations. " The new project will be highly innovative and differs from anything proposed so far. Marco Mengoni is on the go-go already almost two years without a moment's pause. After selling triple platinum with #Prontoacorrere and conquering Spain he has been working on a new album. And that's not all. Marco Mengoni is going strong over 12 months after the release of #prontoacorrere , his latest album. Already a fifth single has been released, this time La valle dei re . This follow Sanremo 2013 winner and Italy's Eurovision 2013 entry L'Essenziale (#1) that is now having a new life as Incomparable in the latin market and scoring #14 in Italy. The second single was the title track Pronto a correre (#7), followed by Non passerai (#10) and Non me ne accorgo (#16). He's still running.....

Namely the Italian cinemas are showing tonight 8.30pm an anteprima of his DVD release #prontoacorrereilviaggio that sums up his amazing year 2013: he has sold 9 x platinum,  he won 7 Wind music awards, 40 sold out concerts with over 100.000 people, Eurovision song contest, winner of Sanremo, L'Essenziale became the longest chart topping single in Italy ever... Artist of the year! You can live again the year to remember with him as the film features besides the full concert in Taormina, Sicily also backstage, interviews and a lot more.  It may be an end to a chapter but the story continues... October 28 and 29 he has been performing in the USA for the Billboard's HitWeek... and he keeps on running...

Marco Mengoni's year has been a real journey, and this "viaggio" will be featured in a DVD that will be released on November 12, 2013. The journey starts by winning Sanremo 2013, followed by over 100.000 copies sold of the single L'Essenziale , over 90.000 of the album #prontoacorrere and leading up the magnificent concert held in Sicily, in Taormina's Teatro Antico during the triumphant L'Essenziale Tour. And the cover image of the DVD matches very nicely the Greek cultural heritage of the theatre; it's a mosaic of photos sent by his fans, their faces. Looks fantastic! #prontoacorrereilviaggio will be shown for the first time in cinemas all over Italy on November 6, 2013 at 20.30.

Marco Mengoni, besides being touring with sold out concerts in Italy, has had time to go to Paris and shoot a very beautiful video for his third single off the album #prontoacorrere , this blogger's favorite Non passerai . He presented the clip in TG1 telling that in the video he wanders around the streets of Paris with a box in his head and takes photos with smiling people. "Smile is something very important this year. This year has been all smiles for me, I just can't stop smiling! ".  The video suits the songs very nicely and continues the series of wonderfully shot videos after L'essenziale and Pronto a correre . Watch this smiley interview here .

Marco Mengoni's success in Italy has no end. The multiplatinum selling album #prontoacorrere stays firmly in top-10 (being at #7 after 21 weeks in the charts when writing this), while the title track Pronto a correre has been one of the hits of summer 2013 (still at #16 in the downloads after 16 weeks), the tour that continues until October has been a sold out success everywhere and more dates have been added in bigger cities to accomodate all the fans... On top of that he's about to take off to Los Angeles and start conquering the Latin market. He has also picked up several awards and even more nominations, made Italy proud in Eurovision, won the Sanremo festival.....  The winning song and his Eurovision entry L'essenzial e is the most sold/downloaded song in Italy between 31.12.2012-30.6.2013! The album is 6th most sold/downloaded at the same period.  His fans - Esercito - has always been a very active one, but another milestone has been reached: 500.000 likes ...

Marco Mengoni has released the second single/video from the #1 album #prontoacorrere. Following the ballad and Eurovision 2013 entry and Sanremo 2013 winner L'Essenziale it's the uptempo title track, Pronto a correre , co-written by Take That's Mark Owen. Enjoy! More Mengoni news for you. His Sanremo winner L'essenziale has been viewed over 4 million times on Vevo already, and the single has sold platinum in Italy. L'essenziale is also #1 in downloads followed by his another song Non passerai at #2, that was released ahead of the album. Marco Mengoni is making a album signing tour in Italy in major cities after releasing his #prontoacorrere album on March 19, 2013. The tour starts from Rome the day before, on March 18 where you can see and meet Marco and even buy the album before its release in Feltrinell store in Via Appia (expect a chaos...). March 23 he hits Milan's Mondadori in Piazza Duomo, then March 26 it's time for Turin and Feltrnelli in Stazione Porta Nuova, two days later he great chaos in the Sicilian capital of Palermo and its Mondadori in Via Ruggero Settimo. Marco Mengoni will release his new album #prontoacorrere (#readytorun) on March 19, 2013. Obviously the album includes the Sanremo winner L'essenziale and the other track, Bellissimo.
