Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

It's time to kick of the usual reviews. The opinions are all mine and if I don't like some song it's simply just not my cup of tea so to speak. If I like something you dislike or hate, it's fine, too. No stresso, no need to be depresso it's just music and tastes that re diverse and therefor beautiful! I also try to predict their success come May a little bit but as we know once the staging is out everything may change, remember Fuego and Rise like a phoenix for example? For this series I have grouped the songs in fours as usual as the songs may have similarities or something in common. Some fours came out beautifully, the others.... well not so well. Here comes the third part! ARMENIA - Parg - Survivor To me this is a weird one: I have seen Parg's other videos and heard songs and he can sing.   Armenia organized the national final Depi Evratesil again after few years but I must wonder why? The show for sounded a Moldovan auditions as there were so many shouty screamy performances, one lady in particular was searching for her notes full three minutes and another lady in white apparently twerked, but it looked like a newborn giraffe trying to stand up. Was it really them or was the sound off in the live show? Ok, this said the stage was pretty and they had put effort in most performances. Yet, when the last one came on stage she was a stand out looking and sounding professional even if the song  itself was missing; it was a stage show with choreography that even borrowed bits from her previous entry plus infamous Mirror mirror on the wall a bit too much. All that made the feeling of a medley half time show even more evident. I'm not a big fan of this kind of Eurovision entries. Virpi Kätkä of CatCat fame came 4th in the Finnish Survivor against all odds, and was even the longest surviving female competitor. She managed to get this far by being friendly and helpful to everyone and staying out of any major fights and double-talk. Or so we thought....  she confessed afterwards it was just the game she played! She was voted out in unison by the remaining guys in a rather ugly way. after Kim won the last challenge and got safety when the other had planned to vote him out. No one wanted to be in the final against Virpi anyways so she would have been next one out perhaps but Kim's victory messed it all up.  Kim is actually Kim Herold, of Humane Euroviisut 2007 (7th) fame.
