Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

This week we have newbies Ellimei and Lasse Havu with Ollie that keeps delivering perfect pop songs for years already, wouldn't it be time to play the #UMK2025 card to finally make it to household name? and real veteran group Teleks that also keeps delivering radio pops one after another. Could they be the "oldies" of #UMK2025? Enjoy! ELLIMEI - KERRON SULLE KAIKEN LASSE HAVU - KANTAVAA MAATA OLLIE - SALAISUUS  TELEKS - ELÄMÄ JATKUU

This week two cover bangers with already familiar Teleks with some nearly symphonic pop and new name Överi. Kaija Koo's iconic anthem has been remixed by Dog Hustlers while BÄMÄ enganged UMK2024 hostess Pilvi Hämäläinen in Kikka's evergreen from the 1990's.  Teleks - Lukot sillankaiteeseen BÄMÄ / Pilvi Hämäläinen - Anna rakas (raju hetki) Dog Hustlers / Kaija Koo - Tinakenkätyttö  Överi - Kyyneliä

Another dose of #Finpop2023, this time by Eurovision veteran Darude with Eurovision wannabe Oskr among others. Enjoy! Darude / House Body / Oskr - Outlwas Ressu Redford - Sä olet syy Teleks - Onnellisii loppuja Anu Marin - Äiti

Here are some of my favourites in the Oulu Music Video Festival: Teleks - Tyttö joka katsoo merelle Laura Närhi - Tämä on totta Fireal - Halo (Hello beautiful) Edorf - Painajainen tulesta Teleks is a duo that's been around since early 2000's and released their 4th album this year after a few year's break. Laura Närhi used to be the lead singer of Kemopetrol before going solo and released her highly succesful debut album last year including this #2 hit. Fireal has transformed from Belak to Flamer to Fireal. The band is lead by multitalented Caleb Hydra from Rovaniemi but is now based in Helsinki. Edorf comes from Lapland and won the Finnish championship in rapping back in 2003. He reöeased his debut album this year after being part in many project including Guerra Norte over the years.
