Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Settembre has won the Newcomers final against Alex Wyse and thus follows the footsteps of likes of Eros Ramazzotti, Laura Pausini, Andrea Bocelli and Francesco Gabbani, just to name a few. In a close final he scores a total of 52,5%  of votes winning both Press and Radio jury but losing closely (49% vs. %1%) the televote won by Alex Wyse. Settembre also collected the Critic's award and the Press award. And average of 10.700.000 watched the third night with a share of 59.8% with a peak of 16 million watching at 21.32. In social medias the videoviews, whatever they mean, have been so far 63 million last night and 219 million since the beginning of the festival.  Andrea Settembre (24) from Naples. The third night goes on as similar way as the second: first the Newcomer finalist will battle out the victory (it has been moved from Friday to Thursday) and then the rest of the Big will perform for the second time. Tonight's guest hosts are actress, hostess, model and Miss Italy 2008 Miriam Leone,  singer and media celebrity Elettra Lamborghini and comedian and hostess Katia Follesa. The guest acts are Eurovision veteran Ermal Meta and Sanremo veterans Duran Duran - for their 5th time! First time was 40 years ago and the last 17 years ago. They equal Take That with most visits as guest in the festival with this visit. Eurovision veteran Iva Zanicchi will receive a lifetime award. And Edoardo Bennato will open the show tonight. The success continues. I know I am repeating myself but the fact is the third night scored 60,1% share, the second highest share second only to Pippo Baudo's 60,5% in 1995! 60,1% responds to 10.001.000 viewers in average. The first part of the show was watched by 13.243.000 and the second part (after 23.30) by 6.436.000. The most watched moment was when Mahmood was presenting Ghali at 00.08 (67,9%). Remarkable is that 70% of age group 25-34 was watching, and in general 74% of the female viewers.  The Sanremo 2024 Spotify Playlist was the most listened on on February 7 - globally! For the second day in a row, the 30 Sanremo songs occupy the whole Top-.30 of Italian Spotify Daily chart. Geolier stays at #1 but Mahmood takes over Annalisa as #2. Sanremo's incredible success continues even without Fiorello as it hits the highest second night score since 2005 with 55,8% or 11,3 million viewers, all time high with a peak of 16,2 million and it's also the first time the second night beats the first night! The figures include 72% among those of 15-24 year old so they will surely mess up the ranking with televoting. Tonight enter the demoscopic jury (50%) and televote (50%) and be ready for the ranking to have a major changes by some artists for sure. The young people are up and watching this year more than ever! RaiPlay had more than one million viewers (up 50% from last year but then again they lifted the geoblock this year), on demand grew 60% and with over 6 million interactions on social media last night was the most commented second night ever. Another interesting piece of news is Brividi has almost 3,3 million streams in Italy along that pushes it to Spotify's Global Top-5! That clearly means it is already #1 hit...

  The third night of 68th Sanremo festival ws the most watched one since 1999: with 51,60% share and 10.825.000 average viewers throughtout the long night. And RAI seems to be happy with the two co-hosts Michelle Humziker and Pierfrancesco Favino and has apparently voiced their wish to work more with them.
