The city of Copenhagen offers you a bonus memories from Copenhagen if you travel there for the Eurovision: You can get married! During the Eurovision celebration in May the Municipality of Copenhagen welcomes any couple – Danish or foreign – with three offers for an unforgettable spectacular wedding. Wonder if Krista will be invited to perform Marry me one more time? There are three choices for the venue and date:

One of Copenhagen’s architectural pearls is the Opera House. On the 7th of May we marry couples on the verge of the Copenhagen Harbour to the sound of orchestra music and choir song.
The Opera – with its picturesque setting– will play a sensational supporting act when the lead roles – personalized by the marrying couples – take the red carpet and marry in the heat of Copenhagen.

On the 9th of May we put the icing on the cake when a decorated and festive Højbro Plads Square – a part of the City’s 1,4 km Fan Mile – will host a magnificent wedding ceremony.
By the foot of the statue honored Copenhagen’s founder – Absalon – and with a view to the diverse Danish democracy’s centre – Christiansborg or just Borgen – speeches and entertainment amongst other things will mark this day in the sign of love.

In softly rocking and intimate surroundings we send out a Wedding Boat on the 10th of May in the tense hours before the great final show of the Eurovision Song Contest.
We set an overwhelming scene and offer a cornucopia of astonishing views and attractions in a covered CO2 neutral electric boat in collaboration with our reputed partner Copenhagen Canal Tours.

Please contact The Wedding Office to learn more about these extraordinary opportunities for combining your wedding with Europe’s greatest show of entertainment.
Ding dong!
