ESC 2016: ITALY, UKRAINE, BULGARIA AND BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA IN....

The preliminary date to take submit an interest to take part in the Eurovision song contest 2016 in Stockholm was set by EBU to September 15, 2015. Or today. We won't know for sure until October 10 (or after) but Italy and Ukraine publicly stated that they intend to take part. That's a relief for the Italian fans who still are in doubt and in fear every year that RAI might go crazy and not take part after all. Once the Sanremo festival's rules will be out we will maybe know if once again the winner has the first option to go to Stockholm, or if another method will be used for the entrant.
Ukraine makes a welcome comeback after last year's absence for obvious reasons and I have a feeling they will be welcomed back with open arms and cheers by the public!
Bosnia-Herzegovina has also applied but we won't know for sure until October. Maybe. Last time they sent and entry was back in 2012 and it would be great to have them back! No news from Turkey.... But also Bulgaria intends to return!
At the moment we have 36 countries if we count also Albania and Portugal that seem to fail any proper statement but are most likely to take part. That leaves us with Croatia and Montenegro as big question marks and then.... will Australia return? Or will China debut? Or someone else?
