Sometimes you hear a song that you just fall for. Even if in theory it has all going against it and you feel like you shouldn't like it. Like this new song Amo l'amore by Francesco Da Vinci, a son of Sal Da Vinci, a Napoletan grooner that this blogger fell totally when he won Festival Italiano over 20 years ago with Vera. His live performance (I found only this BQ Youtube) was a real show stopper; such passion and drama is rarely witnessed on television. And a great song btw, later made a superhit in Latin America as Vida by Eurovision veteran Marcos Llunas. Now Sal has co-written this song for his son and yes, the passion and voice are there..... and hopefully Sanremo and great things in the future!
