Today we had another set of rehearsals and today's winners are Moldova, Ireland, Serbia and Macedonia in my books. Also Hungary and Ukraine were better than before while the others did a solid performance. Austria still isn't there and the Netherlands still don't convince me.
Robert has been busy, too, and he interview Zeljko Joksimovic (here) and Pasha Parfeny (here) and did some partying with Kurt, Sofi, Max and Compact Disco at night, too (here). And more is to come tomorrow!

The other news of the day are Kazakhstan is going to broadcast live all three shows this year and is aiming to become an EBU member by the end of the year and participate in next year's contest, wherever that will be.
YLE announced Mr Lordi as its spokesperson for the final and the Russian grannies surprised the journalists in the press conference by offering them handmade vegetarian pies! Also, one member of Hurts tweeted they were asked to do it for BBC before Hump got the job.
From Italy we here that Gialappa's that were to comment the Eurovision final for Rai2 have been kicked out and anyone who knows their style is probably just happy. The reason? They insisted on doing it their way, which includes talking over songs, commenting them during the performance and so on which is, of course and thank heavens! against the EBU rules. Pretty unknown morning radio speakers of Radio2 Solibello and Ardemagni will do the job now. I hope they read the rules before accepting the job....
And the Finnish media gave a lot of attention to the hackers of Eurovision related sites yesterday and the anti-gay comments. Also there were reports about tightened security. Apparently there is one kilometer security circle around Crystal Hall that is also guarded by police boats by the sea while more police, soldiers and security has been brought in by truck loads. So you out there in Baku, be safe!
And if you wonder what's that in the photo it's a paperweight including a drop of real oil inside it. A gift to the delegations it seems....
