Sweden. What to say? The big BIG favorite. I guess we haven't seen such a big favorite since Fairytale ruling both fan polls and betting lists. I must repeat myself telling I told myself already in the first Melodifestivalen heat that if this wins in Sweden it will win the whole thing. Then on the way here I kinda lost the faith a little. Is it back? I'm not sure. If we look at the competition the way it has been, Russia should do well in televotes, less so by the juries, Italy should do well with both, Serbia idem. But Sweden? Can she beat the grannies in televote? And most importantly: will the juries buy this? Loreen delivers and it looks stunning - thanks to a Finnish-Italian choreographer and a Finnish designer I might add - but then, is it too dark and weird for the average televoter? That's a risk. Also this kind of a song has never won the contest, a club track. All this said I would come to the conclusion Sweden won't win. Or maybe Europe is ready for a round breaking change? More here.
Małgorzata Jamroży aka Margaret has also been tipped for Eurovision and apparently she did turn it down but she'd be perfect. She's got a look and persona you can't unnotice nor forget, she's got hit songs, she has been voted or nominated for everything from Trendy artist to the Hope of the Year, Fashion Icon and Glamour Woman of the year besides the usual best video, song, album, debut..... Oh she's also a fashion designer! She's very clever with social medias and would surely use it to her advantage if selected for Stockholm 2016. Her debut album is titled Add the blonde , do we need to say more? Except it includes mostly Swedish written pop tunes like Tell me how are ya , Wasted , Start a fire and Heartbeat . And of course her debut single and internationally noticed Thank you very much that you can enjoy below with all its anti-textil feel. I think she's Eurovision perfection, she's cheeky and fun, can we have her?
