Chisu's tour took her to Helsinki's legendary Tavastia club not only once but twice this week. Tonight's gig was sold out in record time so she added another one for last night and it was sold out, too. The venue is very different from Aleksanterin teatteri where I saw her the first time and I wonder if it's the rock club or what she really rocked tonight. She was great before but tonight she was brilliant. Great track list, great vocals and arrangements.
Minä ja mun pää from the new album Kun valaistun started the show and was followed by her latest #1 hit Sabotage. More songs from her all three albums followed in steady rhythm and they all went together very well and one can only wonder how many hits this woman has already provided!
The only moment I personally didn't quite like was the trio of Baden-Baden (her first #1 hit), Kriisit and Kerrasta poikki, but then they are all big hits and popular songs but not my favourites. But that's only me, the people surely enjoyed them!
Save the best for last was also Chisu's choise for the evening when Sama nainen was the first encore. The very last song was the second encore Jos on valmis ei sitä tartte kysyykään. Nearly perfect evening. I only missed Yksinäisen keijun tarina but then one can't always have everything, right? A quick chat with Kie von Hertzen of The Hertzen Brothers, her boyfriend and Eurovision star Päivi Paunu's nephew was the icing on the cake for a great November evening....
