Icelandic really have je ne sais quoi to make headlines all over the world. We have just about recovered from the economical crisis headlines and here comes the vulcan. The ash cloud has stopped the air traffic in all Northern and Central Europe and if you believe Aisha, only Mr God knows how long the chaos will last, but he's not answering. Anyways, besides friends and families stuck on airports or at home also the Eurovision 2010 suffers from it obviously. The NRK crew filming the postcards is in Helsinki today - and enjoying a fantastic sunshine I must say, making it hard to believe there's anything up there in the skies! - after travelling by bus and ferries, but how will they now get in time to UK and Ireland, the next destinations? And most of all the one after that: Iceland!? Besides that many Eurovision stars must change and/or cancel their PR or other Eurovision related trips... Let's see how this all goes and how long it lasts?! I guess we all are ready to sing a lullaby to that vulcan to make it go sleep again?
UPDATE: Mr Lordi and Kita are also stuck in New York where they were returning home from a recording session for Lordi's new album.

After the crash of the Icelandic banks, the European countries were asking for a refund.
Probably there has been a typo somewhere because instead of "request for cash", the Icelandic people understood "request for ash"
;-)
