Often Sweden has been the last one to select its entry but tonight they have to share the glory with Romania, Moldova and Portugal. And there are still more to come after them before next week's deadline. The long Melodifestivalen circus comes to an end and the road has been rather rocky so far. Very poor year, if you ask me and for once I have only one, and one only, favourite tonight. Some weird choices were made by the Swedes the past weeks and no, I don't mean they didn't pick the most obvious. I'm sure they surprised even themselves a few times. The show comes from Globen in Stockholm as usual and the international jury (Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, United Kingdom, Estonia, France, Cyprus, Ireland, Malta, Norway, Germany and Ukraine) will decided 50-50 with the Swedish televoters. Ok, I lied. I have another favourite besides Loreen: Dead by April. Either them would be like fresh air in Baku 2012. Danny has once again a great show, no doubt about that but a very weak "song". Loreen has a very intense show on stage but the song sounds great even when you don't see her.
Małgorzata Jamroży aka Margaret has also been tipped for Eurovision and apparently she did turn it down but she'd be perfect. She's got a look and persona you can't unnotice nor forget, she's got hit songs, she has been voted or nominated for everything from Trendy artist to the Hope of the Year, Fashion Icon and Glamour Woman of the year besides the usual best video, song, album, debut..... Oh she's also a fashion designer! She's very clever with social medias and would surely use it to her advantage if selected for Stockholm 2016. Her debut album is titled Add the blonde , do we need to say more? Except it includes mostly Swedish written pop tunes like Tell me how are ya , Wasted , Start a fire and Heartbeat . And of course her debut single and internationally noticed Thank you very much that you can enjoy below with all its anti-textil feel. I think she's Eurovision perfection, she's cheeky and fun, can we have her?
