Today the Finnish media is filled with Krista's Ding Dong and the ice hockey world championships. Finland will play against Slovakia and if we win we are in top-4. If we lose we go home. Or stay home as the champs are here actually, joint with Globen in Stockholm. So, first that and then Krista on telly tonight! Long night!
As I said Krista is everywhere and so is Eurovision. Ilta-Sanomat however features Krista's comments on her competitors which is rather interesting. here goes:
Latvia: Cute guys, I could marry them! Ha ha. Good opener but not sure if singing first is good or not. San Marino: Lovely girl with a lot of fans here. Her song this year is much better than last year. Macedonia: Esma is really cool! She's got a long career and is known in Europe. I really like her but unfortunately not as much her song. Azerbaijan: Great song and great choreography. Very strong. This goes to final for sure! Finland: The funniest show in Eurovision, ding dong! Malta: Gianluca is so nice. Feel good song and feel good staging. A completele opposite to Team Ding Dong. Bulgaria: The ony great thing about this is the drum solo. Iceland: Maybe the finest ballad in this semifinal. Go Iceland! Greece: I love these guys! They're so nice and fun as is their song an their outfits. I like! Israel: Great singer and great she sings in her own language. Her dress will surely divide people. Armenia: Gets better all the time. Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi knows what he's doing. Hungary: Cute boy, cute song. I haven't seen him perform so don't know about his chances... Norway: The big favorite with Denmark. Very strong song and stunning performance. Sure finalist. Albania: Unfortunately I still can't remember this song.... Georgia: Fine, strong ballad. Maybe the best duet this year. You notice it's written by Thomas G:son. I believe this is a finalist. Switzerland: Nice group, nice sing-a-long song. And that grandpa Emil is so cute, I want to keep hugging him! Romania: Cezar shares the motto with me: More is more! Pop-opera and pyros, what could possibly go wrong?!
She also told the back drop she's using has been created by Mikki Kunttu, the same guy who took care of the lighting and effects in Helsinki 2007 Eurovision.
And if you wonder why she's wearing that pink thing under her knee - she hurt it some time ago and it got inflamed and needs to be covered. That's why!
