The reigning Eurovision queen Lena Meyer-Landrut will release her second album Good news on February 8, 2011. It will include all 12 songs she will sing in the German selection for the Eurovision 2011 where she will defend her title. The shows to select the song start January 31 and the song will be known in the final on February 18. Her debut My cassette player sold in Germany over 400.000 copies, and made it to top-10 also in Greece, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland and charted also in Belgium, Denmark, Fnland, Poland and Slovenia. Let's see if the saga continues or will she do a Charlotte? In April she will tour Germany to create some German hype again.
Interestingly enough I'll follow the sunshine sung by Domenique Azzopardi, written by Ralph Siegel in this year's Maltese selection was rejected by Lena's management last year. I think Lena could have done wonders with that song but as it is known Misters Raab and Siegel are not really in friendly terms....
