Cyprus - Tamta - Replay **
Cyprus started the day with Tamta's look all wrong and vocals left in Tel Aviv beach I suppose. This comes across rather weak what I can say from this short clip (I have kept away from any online comments and base my opinions at the moment only on what I see and hear). The staging and especially the outfits are rather clichè and unimaginary and her hair looks like she just got out of shower. Will this be enough for a final or will Cyprus we a shock non-qualifier? Hmm...
Montenegro - D Mol - Heaven *
Where to start? The forced and uncomfortable "choreography" makes me feel a bit ashamed and sorry for them. The vocals aren't great either and the song is nonsense to start with, and the non existing staging isn't helping. Only one question comes to my mind: Why? Didn't they even try?
Finland - Darude feat. Sebastian Rejman - Look away ***
Contrary to Montenegro Finland is at least trying. The graphics are great and even if I preferred the big box in UMK2019 (that apparently KAN said we can't have it being too big - while other countries do have big probs, makes me wonder... ?!). Anyways, Sebastian's jeans are horrid but if they attract some attention than be it, at least they're memorable. His vocals aren't so bad everybody wants to say they are yet it's a bit hard at times to understand what he's singing under all that mumbling. And he still looks like he just got out of bed after partying the whole weekend. He's a handsome guy so if you got it, flaunt it dammit! Be the pretty boy we all know you are and work those eyes to the screen and milk those televotes because we're going to need them!
If things get weird and likes of Cyprus fail to make it, Finland might just squeeze into the final instead. Otherwise I'm afraid this isn't just enough...
