The 62nd Festival di Sanremo got a rocking start last night. Adriano Celentano's boombastic monologue (mostly) furiated the Catholic church and therefor also RAI's bosses. In his "show" he literally and visually bombarded Teatro Ariston and anyone who came to his way. And over 14 million Italians watched and listened (14 milllion is one of the very few positive things so far...) And then the demoscopic jury got furious. The electronic voting system failed after the second song and as a solution they went for the good and old pen & paper system. Only to find out in the end of the evening it was considered void and all 14 Artisti will go on to tonight's second night. And if we add no one seems practically thrilled with the songs, there were more four letters word on air than never before and the co-hostess lies in hospital things aren't so fine in the city of flowers. Let's see if they can turn the tables tonight. All 14 Artisti will perform again and so will all the 8 Newcomers. Let's hope the televote works at least! But I guess it's going to be a long long night...
