First when Paradise Oskar pulled out a number one for his starting position last night I was rather disappointed and thinking "ok, there go all chances to do well in the final...." as it does matter. Finland had a great spot in the semifinal in halfway and sandwiched between to so different songs from Georgia and Malta. Now, Da da dam didn't seem like an opening track for the final, it would sit in nicely somewhere else. Or would it? Maybe people voting are enchanted by it and compare the others to come to it and decide none is as good? Well, maybe that's a bit of a daydreaming but then if we think about some contest openers that went on to win the contest, songs like Ding-a-dong and Diggi-loo diggi-ley. Da da dam fits in just nicely. There's not two without the third, as they say? But then it would become rather problematic: Finland is hosting the Ice Hockey worldchampionships in Helsinki and Hartwall arena from May 4 to May 20, 2012. Would we host it in Turku and in April? :-)
Małgorzata Jamroży aka Margaret has also been tipped for Eurovision and apparently she did turn it down but she'd be perfect. She's got a look and persona you can't unnotice nor forget, she's got hit songs, she has been voted or nominated for everything from Trendy artist to the Hope of the Year, Fashion Icon and Glamour Woman of the year besides the usual best video, song, album, debut..... Oh she's also a fashion designer! She's very clever with social medias and would surely use it to her advantage if selected for Stockholm 2016. Her debut album is titled Add the blonde , do we need to say more? Except it includes mostly Swedish written pop tunes like Tell me how are ya , Wasted , Start a fire and Heartbeat . And of course her debut single and internationally noticed Thank you very much that you can enjoy below with all its anti-textil feel. I think she's Eurovision perfection, she's cheeky and fun, can we have her?
