Now that also Waldo's People made it to #1 in Finland we set our hopes on Yohanna in Iceland. Brinck in Denmark and Alexander Rybak in Norway already did it while Malena Ernman in Sweden was stuck at #2 where the #1 single from Melodifestivalen was E.M.D instead. If we look at the European top-100 this week songs from Sanremo and Melodifestivalen dominate. From Sweden we have E.M.D at #45 (peaking at #1 in Sweden), Caroline af Ugglas at #53 (#2), H.E.A.T at #58 (#3), Malena Ernman at #67 (#2), Måns Zelmerlöf at #71 (#3), Lili & Susie at #76 (#6), Starpilots at #81 (#7), Sarah Dawn Finer at #85 (#3), Alcazar at #91 (#2) and finally Sahlene & Maria at #96 (#10). None of these songs have charted abroad as yet.
From Sanremo we have Arisa at #49 (#1), Marco Carta at #56 (#2), Povia at #61 (#3) and Dolcenera at #87 (#5).
Norway has two songs in top-100: Alexander Rybak at #47 (#1) and Tone Damli Aaberge at #60 (#2). Waldo's People at #80 (#1) completes the Nordic thriumph.
