One of my favorite things at Eurovision has been always the backstage, the free time activities and all that doesn't meet the eye in the broadcasts to those who only watch the shows on telly. I have had the pleasure and priviledge to be in the backstage, in the delegation lounges and the viewing room, seen the microphone and make up rooms and all the wonderful props lined up behind the stage. I have seen the artist mingle and relax or isolate from others to concentrate and put up their star quality faces and come down afterwards. I have been everywhere but the stage itself. Maybe I should have taken the opportunity to do that after the cameras were off after the show when lingering around the arena? Well, too late now!
Once again the eurovision.tv photographers in Turin are doing great job behind the scenes and have captured the artists when in their vulnerable state, or just being goofy, or nervously waiting for their turn or something like that. So I wanted to share the ones I've liked the best right here. Enjoy!
