In 2012 they were all over the place penning ... how many was it? nine? eleven? .. songs in Baku and luckily the one written for Sweden itself won after having won for Azerbaijan the year before. This year the Swedish influence isn't that huge. Not that they didn't try, they just didn't win in various national finals which is rather ironic and symbolic as the contest is taking place in Sweden! Russia, Georgia and the Netherlands all rely totally or partly to Swedish writers this year but Anouk is excused, she's been working with the guy already before, while Russia and Georgia clearly have gone shopping. Instead we have some other cross border collaborations: a Finn is involved in Belgium while a Belgian is involved in Belarus instead. Belarus has also British touch to it, as has Armenia. Azerbaijan didn't go to Sweden this year but to Greece while San Marino continues with the German. I'm sure there are other ones but these I noticed with a quick glance. Feel free to comment in the box about the other ones and I will update....
Małgorzata Jamroży aka Margaret has also been tipped for Eurovision and apparently she did turn it down but she'd be perfect. She's got a look and persona you can't unnotice nor forget, she's got hit songs, she has been voted or nominated for everything from Trendy artist to the Hope of the Year, Fashion Icon and Glamour Woman of the year besides the usual best video, song, album, debut..... Oh she's also a fashion designer! She's very clever with social medias and would surely use it to her advantage if selected for Stockholm 2016. Her debut album is titled Add the blonde , do we need to say more? Except it includes mostly Swedish written pop tunes like Tell me how are ya , Wasted , Start a fire and Heartbeat . And of course her debut single and internationally noticed Thank you very much that you can enjoy below with all its anti-textil feel. I think she's Eurovision perfection, she's cheeky and fun, can we have her?
