Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Angelo De Nile travels throuth time and space and was born in Ninive 2768 years ago. Right. Actually it's a project by Kimmo Blom, currently also in the Voice of Finland, and already in national Eurovision selection as a member of Boys of the Band in 2010. He's a history freak and as Angelo promises to bring the big names from the past alive again, so get ready! Behind his song are guys from some hardrock bands like Leverage and Urban Tale. His incarnation as significant men from the past will provide us a spectacular soundtrack in the future, should he have success with this. Maybe. His hero is Marcus Aurelius and if he could do whatever he'd sneek into Vatican museums at night and spend the night with the masterpieces. All for victory then? Being an emperor in a real world isn't always easy....  Jack: Angelo de Nile's song is rather dramatic but boring at the same time, if that's possible. It wouldn't sound out of place in a theatre production b...

Lili Lambert (33), born Jenni Isoviita, previously known as Jepa as with that name she took part in the Voice of Finland . She's been singing all her life gospel and soul, and you can hear it her voice. She's also been working as backing singer for many top names in Finland from Juha Tapio to Chisu, from Jenni Vartiainen to Cheek. Now it's time to make it big as Lili Lambert! Let me take you there has a bit of funk, soul, r'n'b and gospel, will it work in UMK and eventually in Eurovision remains to be seen....Her influences include Mariah Carey, Karen Clark-Sheard and Brandy. Krista Siegfrids will get the Helsinki go ding dong when she headlines the Helsinki Pride 2013 main event in Vanha, the venue of Euroclub in Eurovision 2007 in the heart of Helsinki. LCMDF and Beverly Girl will share the stage with her while in the MiniDisco Finland's best drag queens will keep court. Cristal Snow and NikoLa will be the hosts.  After that Krista will bring her ding dong all over Finland for the rest of the year (full list here ). The gigs include before mentioned Helsinki Pride on June 29 after a Midsummer gig in Kalajoki on June 22. A month later she will be in Mariehamn, in Åland islands, and July 27 in her hometown Kaskinen. August 2 she's back in Helsinki, and again on September 21. She's also doing shows on various cruise boats between Helsinki, Stockholm, Turku and Tallinn, including M/S Silja Europa, M/S Viking Grace, M/S Viking XPRS.... And on August 31 she will onboard the Eurovision Cruise as well! Ding dong!

The Finnish TV is filled with Eurovision stars when Mr Lordi and Hanna Pakarinen will be choir leaders in Kuorosota , Paula Koivuniemi a judge in The Voice of Finland and now Laura Voutilainen joins the judge team in Idols that will return this fall and replace the flop X Factor. It's going to be an interesting winter on TV screen indeed!

The highly succesful reality format Voice of (insert country here) will start also in Finland this fall. It looks very promising as the couches will be Paula Koivuniemi, Michale Monroe, Lauri Tähkä and Elastinen. Axl Smith will be the host. The show is very simple; first the coaches only hear the singer, thus The Voice, and can decide if they want that voice in their team. They each pick up eight singers and coach them to reach their best. Duels drop artists and in the end there is only one voice left.... Sounds quite promising!
