EUROVISION 2018: TICKETS FOR THE FINAL ON SALE NOW

I'm so happy I'm not needing a ticket..... ... and the queue is getting worse as we speak.... ... and tickets are sold out, it seems.

ESC 2017: HERE'S THE STAGE AND THE SEMIFINAL ALLOCATIONS

Fans were complaining before about everyhting but NTU has come up with the logo, slogan, stage and allocation draw in January. Just as promised. :-) And even the ticket sales will start in a week or so... The stage (on top) looks very much inspired by Vienna and Helsinki with the Baku backdrop. But then again it's the same designer. Except for Helsinki of course! Looks promising. The semifinal allocation is sorted out as well today with the Host City insignia ceremony, passing the contest officially from Stockholm to Kyiv. A nice tradition started after Helsinki 2007 from the initiative of the Helsinki city people.  Italy, Spain and United Kingdom will vote in the first semifinal which is bad news for San Marino. Germany. Ukraine and France will vote in the second semifinal which is good news for San Marino if they send Serhat again..... And Finland? AGAIN first semifinal and AGAIN first half! This is 8th semifinal one in ten years, and the starting numbers have ...

ITALY: FANCY A TICKET TO SANREMO?

Before all the fans start moaning about the ticket prices for Eurovision let's have a look what the tickets to Sanremo festival cost. Maybe you'll be happy with whatever EBU and NTU offer after.... The single night tickets cost either 100 or 180 euro depending which part of the Teatro Ariston you are seated. That's for the first four nights; the final costs 320 and 660 euro. But to get these you should line up in the box office at the theater day by day.... If you want to buy the full five day package that's 672 or 1 290 euros. And no funny business with the tickets as they are all printed out with your name and date and place of birth, and you need to prove your identity with the ticket so you can't just give it to someone else once you have it.  The ticket sales start here on January 10, 2017 if you are tempted..... But remember the number of tickets is very limited as the theater is filled with industry people, RAI people, people from Sanremo town...

Not in the middle but the audience however is on three sides of the stage, which is a normal for many concerts but a novelty for Eurovision song contest. And yes, the fan area is a standing one again but fans are getting OGAE tickets also to seated areas, my guess is the area around the stage. And a very nice touch is given m...

12.12 at 12.12: the chaos

"An important message to those who are buying tickets to the Final! Due to extremely high demand and despite the large capacity, there is a limit to the amount of traffic the platform can handle per hour, so keep trying! Tickets are available for German ánd foreign fans. Buy through www.dticket.de , the *only* official ticket partner! There are *no* other ticket partners, so be careful of scams!"   So is the statement. Once again the ticket sales didn't go smoothly and zillions of fans are being frustrated, angry and ready to burn down EBU and the host broadcaster cursing the whole country of Germany. So, what else is new? Doesn't this happen every year? As I'm not going all I can do is yawn to all of this.... :-)
