  Poland - Tulia - Fire Of Love (Pali Się) **** Original, memorable and unlike any other as a song and a look,  the staging and graphics seem to fit in nicely. If the Russian grannies made it to 2nd place this will qualify with ease and do better than most think at the moment. This is perfect Eurovision, what most televiewers expect to see and hear in Eurovision, without being cheap and kitchy, but authentic and Polish TV did a smart and respectful choice by choosing them over some pop starlet! Slovenia - Zala Kralj & Gašper Šantl - Sebi **** Ok, this is hard to call. I like the minimalist and space like staging and graphics, they fit perfectly with the song's atmosphere and make the whole very etheric and dreamlike. Whether televoting masses and juries will get this is another thing but at this point I'm still positive they will and Slovenia should qualify at least. He looked a bit lost and goofy, but his voice was rather unique and during the long weeks he delivered interesting yet recognisable cover versions so when he won I was very, very pleased. When I heard his entry I was touched. And so pleased they didn't go for something more obvious and secure. Lately the host nation has often landed in the bottom of the scoreboard and judging fandom this could end up the same way. I think this could do very well instead. Zala Kralj & Gašper Šantl have won the Slovenian national final 2019 for Eurovision with their song Sebi . They beat Raiven in superfinal with 72,9% against 27,1%

Slovenia's EMA is back. A jury panel will pick up two songs for the superfinal where the televote alone determinates the winner. Raiven is back again, and Ula from Junior Eurovision 2014 debuts among adults. Actually she's one of the very, very few Jesc artists that I actually remember, Nisi sam was great! I think I know who I am supporting, at least until I hear the songs!
