ESC 2015 AUSTRALIA: GREAT SUCCESS DOWN UNDER

We all knew Aussies were crazy for Eurovision and now that they were able to take part and scored a great 5th place with Guy Sebastian's Tonight again even more so. Hundreds of them gathered together at 5am in the fresh Australian fall to watch the show together on megascreen provided by SBS in Melbourne. 263.000 even watched it live on television at that hour, and nearly 600.000 the replay at 7.30pm later that day. All in all the semifinals and the final gathered 2,1 million vievers with a peak over 4,2 million. Not bad at all! The burning queston now is of course will EBU let them back next year again, despite the original plan of one year only. I would say Yip!

ESC 2015 IN VIENNA - DAY 10: AUSTRALIA

Australia leaves no detail unperfect in their debut. Some camera angles and lights have been fine tuned and the whole thing looks pretty awesome. When you add the uptempo groovy song with great arrangement and Guy's flawless vocals there is a possibility we might end up in some European country next year, as Australia's guests. Guy looks Aussie chick and his backing group's got the moves right to the perfection. This is polished and well thought over - without being cold and boring. Love it!

ESC 2015 IN VIENNA - DAY 7: AUSTRALIA'S DEBUT

Australia is here. Last but not least and one of the best. Guy looks Aussie, sings like and angel and the song's a groovy one creating a party in a good way and his backing singers are doing rather Eurovisionesque routins but it's all good. They have props, six street lamps and also lights in their feet - now that's somethig new. Australia's votes, I mean what they get will be very interesting to see. They deserve a lot but will people vote for them for the novelty of it, or will they not because it's Australia? Either way Australia deserves a top-5, top-10 minimum. Maybe not a winner but a good runner up....

ESC 2015 AUSTRALIA: GUY TO SING TONIGHT AGAIN

Australia has released its entry for Eurovision 2015 in Vienna. Instead of taking a song from his latest album as expected Guy Sebastian has been so inspired by the Euroadventure he wrote a new song Tonight again for the occasion   when he had a couple of days off last week. It's soulful r'n'b effort that showcases his vocals and yes, it gives a lot of freedom for a stage show. Australia has all it takes to do very well in Vienna.....
