Well, most probably not but this list of artists seems to fit the hints Yle gave and it did spread around fast like a forest fire in August . It does include names that this blogger has been toying with as well, and names that could fit the concept well and most of all feature several strong names so it wouldn't be one or two horse run but a real battle and more battle between the songs rather than artists. Portion Boys, the biggest party band (maybe) with three Top-5 hits in the past year, one of them with Teflon Brothers from Umk fame, with Meiju Suvas who's been around 40 years and living a new fame peak thanks to Vain elämää season 13 this fall. She's tried to get the ticket to ESC several times already.

he shot to fame in Idols 2008/09 and has had ups and downs in his career, the ultimate sex symbol who finally proved to most everyone he's a real international superstar worthy in the same Vain elämää 13 with his performances.
Saara Aalto
Well, do I need to present her? The eternal runner up except at ESC second to last is surely going to give it another go sooner or later. Would she be the one to belt out the show stopper ballad?
Alex Mattson feat Aliisa Syrjä
Aka Aleksi Kaunisvesi of Blind Channel. Producer and author of dance music before he joined Blind Channel and made them successful could be joined by a newcomer Aliisa.

Rap/punk/electro since 2013 by this trio. Two albums, string of singles and still searching for the jackpot and a hit song.
Amorphis
For 30 years one of the leading heavy rock and metal bands. Ten last albums top-10 in Finland with 8 last top-3. Have also international fan base especially in the US.
Kuumaa
Pop band since 2013. One album and a string of singles that would make up another album after that already, millions of streams on Spotify and already one smash hit under thye belt they are yet to become a household name. Maybe now:
