Surinamese singer-songwriter Jeangu Macrooy (26) will have the hard task of succeeding the last year's winner as he takes on the job as the Dutch representative in Rotterdam 2020 Eurovision song contest. The Dutch colony boy moved to the Netherlands in 2014 to study music. His style is labeled as modern soul and keeping up with the trend he is also openly gay. Two albums, one live album, one EP and several singles under his belt he's ready for the Eurovision adventure following the footsteps of Milly Scott, Humprey Campbell and Ruth Jacott, also Dutch Surinamese entrants.
