Nino De Angelo shot to fame with Jenseits von Eden in 1983, a German #1 hit for ten weeks (also #1 in Austria and Switzerland), while the Italian version topped the French charts for 5 weeks. More singles were released in German, Italian and English without major impact, until his Eurovision 1989 trip with Flieger. I lost track of him after his first two albums and collecting his singles in various languages and usually liking more the B-sides No more and especially Tempo verrà., but I was very happy to find him briefly again in 1989 and why Flieger did so bad is still a bit of a mystery...... Oh, and he's still around apparently.
