Magdi Rúzla from Hungary may be considered the surprise of this year's contest. No one seemed to care much of her before the contest nor in the parties where she was seen mostly alone with the Hungarian delegation while people run around Verka, Kenan and others like flies. They don't know what they missed: a lovely down to earth girl with a lot of charm, warmth and very friendly. And of course that voice that convinced the voting audience that voted her 2nd in the semifinal and 9th in the final. The fellow musicians also voted her song the best one so she took home the Marcel Besancon Award to top her success. Well done, Magdi!
