Life after Helsinki 2007 Eurovision

Here's the new trailer of the Norwegian movie Yohan - The child wanderer featuring Alexander Rybak and Carola. You can hear her singing a bit in the end of the trailer with Kris Kristofferson.

Carola in in Hollywood filming the opening scene for the same film Alexander Rybak is in, Yohan - Barnvandrarna (The child wanderer) . The international premiere for the film is scheduled this spring - it premiered in Norway for Christmas - and it seems the English version has some differences. Kris Kristofferson, famous country singer and actor is playing the leading role as an adult and with him Carola will sing in the opening scene.... and the main song of the movie!

A film crew has been following Alexander since his victory with Fairytale in Moscow and now this modern fairytale is released on DVD. A sort of Truth or dare aka In bed with Madonna Norwegian style it seems. A must for the fans and interesting for anyone interested in what goes on behind the scenes and in backstage. You can see a bit here and as reported before Alexander will be also starring in a family film Yohan barnevandreren that will premiere in Norway December 11, 2009.

Icelandic Yohanna will come to Finland next week. She will perform in the opening ceremony of the Helsinki International Horse Show on Ocotber 16 which is very fitting as Yohanna has been riding horses all her life. It is also her birthday! Yohanna was the well deserved runner up in Moscow with Is it true . It made it to #4 in the official Finnish Top-10.

Alexander Rybak has managed to fit into his busy schedule also a little role in a movie. Yohan - the child wanderer ( Yohan - barnevandreren in Norvegian) is a big budget family film based on true stories about child wanderers in Norway between 1800-1910 directed by Grete Salomonsen. The film is made both in Norvegian and in English and the distribution rights have been sold to 30 countries already. It will premiere in Norway on December 11, 2009 and rest of the world in summer 2010. The film is a huge production with 100 specific roles - Alexander will play Levi - and 400-500 extras and 100 animals. The animal scenes with wolfes and bears were filmed in Big Bear Mountain in California under direction by Steve Martin. Here's Alexander in set and here is the trailer.
