I lost completely lost track withthe goings on in Ukraine with their confusing selection process and took my day in to catch up only to find out two songs I sorted out were no longer in the race, Vroda's Zvovteye zhyto and Tetyana Vorzheva's Vse resheno. Vroda, that seems a bit like an Ukrainian Kuunkuiskaajat or Timotej were kicked out right away but Tetyana survived one round. Many seem to like Anastasiya Pridhonko's Action but I'd like to call it more noise pollution than music (mind you, I was one of the few to like Mama) That leave me with three favourites that are very good: very Serebro-like A.R.M.I.YA ft Vera Varlamova's Allo, allo, Here's the live performance.
Jamala's Smile that sounds very fashionable at the moment reminding of Amy Winehouse and company but then it goes all crazy and hopefully makes people smile.... This might be just crazy enough to win in Ukraine!
and some crazy cuckuuing with Zlata Ognevich and The kukushka! It has all the makings to become as annoyingly fantastic nonsense as Sieben, Sieben ailuluu. Coccoo! It even works in English. Besides Zlata is so pretty and her other stuff is very interesting, too. If any of these three wins I'm a happy blogger!
