The Icelandic final this Saturday turns out to be a very tough one even if it first looked like there was nothing really. Edgar and Jógvan are offering good old fashioned ballads with strong vocals and rather sweet performances. My vote goes to Edgar as his song and vocals just seem a bit stronger. Then we have Elektra with 80's girly rockband poptune that could easily be Hanna Pakarinen's early repertoire and Kaja with her electropop... Elektra wins here for me as it is easier to approach and catchier. Then we have Ingó with his circuslike sing-a-long ukulele song that I believe will appeal to many voters but I prefer Arnar & co's country song. Icelandic cowboys! That could surprise many in Moscow and it is well sung and performed. I like it even if I'm not a fan of country music. That leaves us with Hreindis with her very old fashioned ballad that could have been already in Eurovision 1960 and Johanna. Johanna is beautiful girl with a beautiful voice and a beautiful song. That would maybe be the classiest choise here but if she, the cowboys or Elektra wins I'll be very happy. If Edgar or Ingó wins I'll just be happy.... (pairing of the songs is mine, it just felt appropriate after listening the songs)
