01. Miriam Christine - Mama
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMiH2d9KRGA
Miriam performs well this self penned anthem to mama magical. Nice but nothing special. And the first of warderobe disasters tonight....
02. Baklava - Kamikaze Lover
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwB4rm03-LY
One violinist, who happens to be Joseph Chetcuti who already showed his sculpted pecs on stage in Helsinki backing Olivia Lewis, and two cellists. They forgot to add the vocalist so poor Joseph has to mumble some kamikazes nonsense every now and then. I have only one question: WTF? And I see many comments on chatboards here and there saying this was fab. So, that answers the question how far a nice physique can get one in this business...
03. Ruth Portelli - Blame it on your heart
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENT1gixXxtY
Ruth returns with another uncle Ralph song and after kamikazes it sounds very good. Yet, their entry last week was way better.
04. J.Anvil - Choose your number
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCtQ3TvmiPI
Oh, Malta's Jari Sillanpää? Unfortunately this cute little cabaret number belongs to some floor show on cruise ship, not in Eurovision. Sorry, J!
05. Corazon Mizzi - Another side of me
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bB_GNQyCSRo
Corazon performed well vocally her song, sitting behind her keyboard. Professional. Good. The presentation maybe was a bit out of place but.... it can be all worked out for the final, right?
06. Rebecca Bonnici - Carry Me
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLn_Xnw8dDQ
Eager vocalist who sounded terribly young at times. Forgettable.
07. Justine ft.Siconix - Rhythm of the night
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yU_cWueC-K4
We started with warderobe disaster and end with one - well, there have been some in between, too - but she makes it up with powerful vocals and joy of performing. The rapper is a strange addition to the song but they seem to enjoy it themselves.
