EBU has decided to bring national juries back in next year's Eurovision to cut down the diaspora and neighbouring votes. Good! But didn't the countries vote their neighbours even with the juries? Yes, but also for the good songs and powerful singers more than a common televoter. The details how much the juries will count haven't yet been decided but I would go straight 50-50. In general that should benefit the quality songs and harm the jokers... Or will it only end up in a big compromise? Time will tell....
That is only for the final itself. In semifinals they stick to the formula tried out for the first time this year: nine songs by televoting and jury vote got in the top song on their list that wasn't in the televoters top-10. And that trick saved Sweden this year from even bigger humiliation...
Now we can just wait and see if this solution is good enough to make Austria, Monaco and perhaps Italy return in the air of possible boycots by Estonia, Lithuania and Poland along with Georgia. However, now it's official: it's Moscow!
