The first rehearsal for Finland didn't go at all as planned reports YLE's delagation's PR from Moscow: "The sound was almost a catastophe. What we saw on TV-screens was a catastophe" says Rami Lindholm, the Finnish director. He tried to make some sense and logic to the images with the Swedish studio director. Waldo's People tried their best on stage but what can you do when your microphones are the wrong ones, Karoliina can't hear herself and the cameramen get too close to the fire acrobats? Svante Stockselius himself was in the hall, which at this point means there is something extremely interesting happening on stage or there are serious problems. The latter was confirmed later in the evening talking with the other delegations. The chief director seems to be totally out of control. After the troublesome first rehearsal the first press conference went well and Waldo's People gave interviews here and there afterwords.
On a brighter side they managed to get into Russian TV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuVB_fM5qI8
